Delivery & Returns

Some of the items in my shop are ordered through, packaged, and sent by external suppliers.  These are Teemill, for certain clothing items, and Thortful, for my cards.  These items will have “Designed by Beta Mummy, fulfilled by Thortful/Teemill” in their descriptions, and you will be directed to my creator page within their websites to order, pay, etc.  Doing this enables me to offer a wider range of merchandise than I would ever be able to stock and send out by myself.  I only put my name to quality items, and I am sure that you will be happy with any Beta Mummy items that you order.  Any problems with either of these external suppliers, please do let me know.

Anything which does not have “Designed by Beta Mummy, fulfilled by Thortful/Teemill” in their description will be ordered, processed, lovingly packaged and posted by me!

We aim to get all orders packaged up and posted within 2 working days.  When I say “we”, I mean “me”.  All orders are sent by Royal Mail and should reach you within 3 days of dispatch.  If your order is super-urgent then contact me at and I’ll do my best to sort you out.

I put my heart and soul into Beta Mummy and I hope that you love the thing(s) that you order.  If for any reason you wish to return or exchange an item you must contact within 14 days of receiving it.

Returned items must be sent back unused, undamaged and in a saleable condition within 14 days of notifying me that you wish to return them. The items are your responsibility until they get back to me so I recommend that you make returns by recorded delivery, or at least keep a proof of postage receipt.  You will be responsible for the cost of returning items for refund or exchange.  Refunds will be made within 14 days of my receipt of the returned item(s).

Note that any items ordered from Thortful or Teemill must be returned to them, and they will process your return/exchange.  For any issues with Thortful items, click here.  For Teemill items, a returns label and instructions will have been included in your parcel, but you can also contact them here.

A note about packaging

It is a personal mission of mine to reduce the amount of plastic that I add to the waste stream, and this extends to Beta Mummy.  I’m a long way from perfect or completely plastic-free, but I do my best to use recycled and/or recyclable packaging, and given the option I will turn down excess plastic/cellophane packaging if offered it by my suppliers.  I also occasionally re-use packaging, if it’s fit for purpose.  If you’re ordering an item as a gift, let me know so that I can make sure it’s packaged extra neatly!
