Right. This is where I say “hi” to fellow Britmums Live-goers, so we all get to know each other a little bit beforehand, with the aim of minimising the terror of walking into a room full of 500 people I don’t know, to talk about a subject that I know pretty much nothing about….ho hum. Screw these questions, I’m relying on dutch courage and the lure of free cake to get me there!
But fine, I’ll answer the questions too…here goes.
My name: Beta Mummy (oh ok, ok, my name’s Beth)

How I look: a bit of a state, most of the time. However, given that I’ll be child-free for the day, I shall implement my full beauty regime in an attempt to look marginally more human. BML, you are honoured!
Is this my first blogging event? Yup.
I will be wearing… Now seriously, do people actually think about this so far in advance?! Tempted to go for a purple outfit/yellow pants combo, complete with cape…we shall see.
What I hope to gain from #BML16: Looking forward to meeting up with bloggy friends (especially the fabulous #tribalchat lot), meet new people, and learn a little bit more about this weird and wonderful world of blogging that I seem to have stumbled into. I will probably be feeling like a fish out of water, so please come and say hi to me!
My tips for a great conference: No idea – I’ll let you know this time next year! Needless to say, I’m planning to take the edge off with a glass or three of something chilled…
Oh are you going? I almost went, and didn’t. Could’ve been the wine opp I was hoping for. Enjoy! Say hi to my mate Mother Pukka x
Yes, I eventually bit the bullet – carpet diem, or something. Looking forward to it!
Can’t wait to meet you! And please come with your cape 😉 that would be most amazing. Xx #triballove
Hi! Look forward to meeting you. Pllleeease wear a cape. Please? Xx
Really looking forward to meeting you,I think you should definitely wear the cape. Claire x
Yep I echo the others and your thoughts – a cape is a must. How else will we recognise you??? Can’t wait to meet you Beth and drink wine xxx
ha ha brilliant – a glass of something cold or three – we can be friends! Please wear the cape! Can’t wait to meet you lovely xx #triballove
Sorry but it’s another vote for the cape. So you have to wear one, ok? 🙂 Seriously REALLY looking forward to meeting you. I haven’t got my arse into gear to do #tribalchat so hope no-one holds that against me and we can share lots of wine with NO CHILDREN and party like we’re 30-somethings sharing lots of wine with NO CHILDREN. Yaaay! #fortheloveofblog
Oh amazing – I didn’t know you were going! Yes, definitely we must meet up and sink a few. I’m slightly regretting the cape comment now…
Hurray! Always up for sinking a few. Cape or not 🙂 xx
Please please please where the cape! I am gutted that I can’t attend this year, I love your blog and you would be on my top 10 list of people to hang out in the champagne tent with LOL #fortheloveofBLOG
You will need to paste a beta mommy on your forehead so I can find you! Lol I have a cuddle fairy sticker on my phone, which will be glued to my hand for tweeting purposes – so let’s find each other!! x
