Beta Mummy COOKS…Easy Banana Loaf

Here we are again for yet another recipe in my Beta Mummy…COOKS! series.  This time, I’m going to treat you to one of our family favourites, banana loaf, something which I can guarantee the Feral Children will both eat.  That is because it is cake – what child doesn’t like cake?  And the absolute best thing about this recipe is that it contains actual real life fruit, so it’s actually very healthy.  Let’s call it one of their 5-a-day.

Beta Mummy’s Hot Toddy Recipe

It’s been a while, but due to popular demand (“popular”, “demand”) I’m back for Beta Mummy…COOKS! with my recipe for Hot Toddy.

I use the word “recipe” in the loosest terms.  But I mean, I am heating something (water), and there is food involved (lemon, honey), so that is cooking, right?

Beta Mummy Cooks…Lasagne

I’m no Alpha Mummy – I’m not a great cook, I don’t have a pristine, marble-topped kitchen, and I don’t have the time to lovingly prepare nutritionally-balanced food for my family at every single meal.  But I do try…so I decided that I would share some of the things I’ve learned along the way, by featuring some extremely special Beta Mummy recipes on my website.

I started off nice and easy last time with cheese on toast, but today I’ve bravely gone for something a little more complicated.  I would not recommend attempting this on a work night – save it for the weekend when you’ve got a bit more time on your hands.  Stick the kids in front of CBeebies and let’s get started with Beta Mummy’s Lasagne recipe:

Beta Mummy Cooks…Cheese on Toast

The world of blogging and social media loves a recipe – Pinterest goes mad for the bloody things.  A quick google search for “meat pie recipe” returned 3,910,000 results….wow.  So anyway, I decided to join the merry recipe bandwagon, and feature some extremely special Beta Mummy recipes on my website.

I’m going to kick off  with my recipe for cheese on toast.  Some of you may not think that something as humble as cheese on toast warrants a recipe…in that case then I suspect you are not a true Beta Mummy – when it comes to cooking at least!
